CARE is a trauma-informed training model to teach relationship enhancement skills for any adult that works with, or cares for children and/or teens. This is not a therapy program or intervention.
CARE utilizes ideas and skills that are used in multiple parenting programs.
CARE is a simple and concrete set of skills for ANY adult to interact with ANY child or teen, in ANY setting.
CARE trainings are applicable to, and has been implemented with, a wide range of provider populations, some examples are;
CARE trainings are designed to teach skills in a group interaction and discussion format. Length of the training can vary from 2-8 hours, in one or multiple sessions and is designed especially for your needs. If you are looking for active skill building with practice and live coaching plan for longer trainings!
Note: CARE is not intended to be used to address significant behavior problems, but to teach skills any adult can use to enhance the adult-child, or adult-teen, relationship.
